What Can I Expect While Working With Baja Dog Training?
We recognize that every dog owner faces unique challenges. We are committed to helping you take the necessary steps to get on the right path. Here is an overview of our approach:
- Initial consult. We will consult with you via phone, email, or in some cases in person to understand your dog’s individual needs and to establish reasonable goals and expectations.
- Program enrollment. After the initial assessment, your trainer will recommend the most strategic course of action to get your dog on the path to knowledge and improved behavior. The program recommendation will be based upon your schedule, preferences, behavioral issues, and training goals. Options include: Private coaching at our facility, lessons in the privacy of your home, and our exclusive board and train program in which your dog resides at the trainer’s home for intensive education.
- Follow up. “My canine students are students for life.” At the completion of any of the training programs, students are encouraged to keep in contact with the trainer for continuing support and advice. I enjoy hearing updates about my canine students even years later, and am always available for trouble shooting. Each program is comprehensive, and includes owner educating in addition to education the dogs.
We have extensive experience working with dogs of all levels, breeds, and ages. From puppy foundation skills and house manners to severe behavioral issues, or competition dogs to rescues, we are able to customize a program that works for you. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you are posed with a unique challenge and are unsure of what program to enroll in.
